And this hour on Friday is like the Night of Destiny in the year, whether God Almighty said: On this day, I mean, concerning it, the people were one nation, so God sent the prophets as bearers of good tidings and warnings, and He sent down with them the Book with the truth to judge between the people in what they differed over. Except those to whom it was given differed concerning it after it came to them. Clear proofs out of envy among themselves, so God guided those who believed to the truth about what they differed about, by His permission. This verse was revealed regarding disagreement on this day, so Friday was washed away from this disagreement so that he would be certain of his purity in what God revealed from his insight, and He knew the hour that was on this day, for today was ambiguous.
