After we have mentioned most of the sayings and actions in prayer, let us move on to conditions such as congregational prayer, its ruling, the conditions for leading, who is more worthy of precedence, the imam’s rulings specific to him, the position of the imam in relation to the person being led in prayer, and their specific rulings regarding them, what the person being led in prayer follows the imam in, what he does not follow in it, and the description of being followed, and what the imam carries on behalf of the person being led in prayer. If the imam’s prayer is invalidated, the things that lead to it are invalidated by those who are praying behind him, according to what the imams of Sharia scholars have explained and the scholars’ differences in that.
