On the Day of Judgment, God will say, “God has delegated my servant to me,” or “My servant has glorified me,” or both. However, glorification is due to the aspect of truth in terms of what His essence requires and in terms of what the world’s relationship to Him requires, and delegation in terms of what the world’s relationship to Him requires and nothing else, for He is an agent for them through delegated agency, so in the right of a people He says My servant glorified Me, and in the purpose, and in the right of a people, he says: Delegate to my servant, and in the purpose also, the servant may combine the two purposes, so God combines for him in the response between glorification and delegation. This whole half is sincere to God’s presence, and the servant has no participation in it .
