Considering it as purifying the limbs from what it is not permissible for a muhrim to do, and purifying the interior from everything that he left behind. Just as he abandoned a sense of family, money, and children, and came to the House of God outwardly, his heart should not turn to anything except what it was directed toward, and prevent it from entering his heart or letting anything of that occur to him. He left him behind by repenting and returning to God. This is why it is called washing the ihram for what is forbidden to him, both outwardly and inwardly. If this is not his case, then he is not inwardly forbidden.
