Know, may God help you, that this chapter includes mention of the servants of God called malamiyah, and they are the men who have been freed from guardianship at its highest levels, and above them is only the level of prophethood, and this is called the station of closeness in guardianship, and their sign from the Qur’an is the houris enclosed in tents, warning of the descriptions of the women of Paradise and the houris upon the souls of men. God took those whom He took to Himself, protected them, and imprisoned them in tents to preserve the divine jealousy in the corners of the universe, lest an eye reach out to them and occupy them. No, by God, they are not concerned about the creation looking at them, but it is not in the power of the creation to fulfill this group’s right over them due to its high position, so the servants are stuck in a matter that they will never attain, so He imprisoned them. Their outward appearance is in the tents of customs and acts of worship, such as o
