The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Among the weakness of certainty is that you please people with God’s displeasure, that you praise them for God’s provision, and that you disparage them for what God has not given you. Indeed, God’s provision is not withdrawn by eager eagerness, nor is it rejected by the hatred of a hater. Indeed, God, blessed be His name.” Place the spirit and joy in contentment and certainty, and place worry and sadness in doubt and discontent. You have never prayed for anything to bring you closer to God except that He will reward you for it, so set your concern and striving for an afterlife in which the reward of the sick will not be exhausted and the punishment of the one who is displeased will not cease .
