Beware of God seeing you where He has forbidden you or losing you where He has commanded you, and strive to have a secret of work that only God knows about, for that is the greatest means of ridding that work of blemish, and few people have this. You must fast on the Day of Arafah and the Day of Ashura and persevere in doing so. Do good deeds in the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah and in the ten days of Muharram. If you are able to fast a day for the sake of God so that your affliction from the enemy does not affect you, then do so.
