These four things, if God afflicts one of His servants or one of them with them and he takes the place of truth in assigning them to him and returns to God in them and does not stand with them from where he appointed them and took them as a divine blessing that God bestowed upon him and returned them to Him. God Almighty and establishing him in the place of due gratitude that God commanded his Prophet, peace be upon him, Moses to do. He said to him, “O Moses, give me due thanks.” Moses said, “O Lord, and what is due thanks?” He said to him, “O Moses, if you see a blessing from me, that is due thanks.” Ibn Majah mentioned it. In his Sunan on the authority of the Messenger of God , may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and when God forgave his Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, for his previous and future sins, and gave him good tidings of that, in the Almighty’s saying, “May God forgive you for your previous and
