They are not believers And they were not believers except in falsehood, so He commanded them to believe in God, who is the truth, and His Messenger, and the Book that was sent down to His Messenger, and the Book that was sent down before. This indicates that he did not address the People of the Book only, for he ordered them to believe in the Book that was sent down before, and there is no doubt that they are believers in it, I mean the scholars of the People of the Book.
