This has spread to all the disagreements that occurred regarding its shaf’ah, odd-numbered, short, and many alone, and leaving its limit, so think about it and wash the dead from you with a similar and complete wash with the incomplete one, just as a sane believer is with a sane person alone, or with a believer.

The hadith emerges from the abdomen of the dead person after washing it. Some of them say that it is repeated, and among them are those who say that the washing is not repeated, and those who say that it is repeated, they differed in the number to seven, and they agreed that it should not be more than seven .

Suspicion arises after purity has been achieved because it quickly disappears from his imagination due to the weakness of his perception, so the teaching is repeated to him seven times, and if he is married to that, it is like one who has been married to urinary incontinence and passing wind. The teaching is not repeated to him, as it cannot be proven

But we have gathered on the Seven because it is the ultimate perfection in divine knowledge by His being a god, and for this reason God linked the wisdom in the existence of traces in the elemental world to the path of the seven pearls in the twelve signs, so He made the walkers seven, so we learned that it is the ultimate perfection of existence

And He made the completeness of the journey in twelve because it is the ultimate of the ranks of number from one to nine, then the tens, then the hundreds, then the thousands. These are twelve, and in them the composition takes place until it is infinite without addition. Likewise is the path of the seven in the twelve signs. This is the decree of the Mighty, the All-Knowing .

The afternoon is the choice of the old and the young in his condition. Does he have a doubt about what he is afraid of that will taint his purity if the old purifies him or not, so that he calls him based on his insight? He is the one who has a doubt that he is hoping for to have it appear at another time, so the educator will protect himself at the beginning of the time. Before it breaks out and fatigue sets in and becomes great, the forty-eighth part ends with the end of the seventh book, followed by the forty-ninth part. He prayed in shrouds, which is like clothing for the praying person .

The shroud is for the dead, like clothing for the praying person, and it is what one prays on, not in, like praying on a mat and the garment that comes between you and the ground, because it is in the place of your prostration. If you prostrated, it is similar to what one prays on .

As for the woman, the order in which she should be shrouded is that the washer first covers the waist, which is the waistcoat that tightens around the middle of the person, then the shield, which is the complete shirt, then the veil, which is the one with which she covers her head, then the blanket, then she then goes into another garment that covers everyone. These are five garments like this, in order .

The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, gave Layla al-Thaqafiyya when Umm Kulthum, the daughter of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, washed one garment after another with his hand, handing them to her and ordering her to do with them what we mentioned in that order.

As for the man, we have no text regarding the description of his shrouding, except that

When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, died, he was shrouded in three white saree robes, without a shirt or turban

in the presence of those present. From the scholars of the Companions, and we have not heard that any of them, nor those who reached him, denied that, nor did they dispute it, but in the narrator’s statement, “There is no shirt or turban,” there is an apparent possibility, and the text regarding the three-thawab is undoubtedly from the narrator, except that Witr is recommended for the shrouds .

Among the people are those who believe that a man is shrouded in three garments and a woman in five garments, based on what we have mentioned. Among them are those who believe that the minimum that a man can be shrouded in is two garments, and the Sunnah is three garments, and the minimum that a woman can be shrouded in is three garments, and the Sunnah is five garments, and among the people are those who do not see a limit to that. But it is recommended to pray Witr.

The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Whoever dies in ihram should be shrouded in two garments. ”

The purpose of shrouding is to hide the dead from sight, and for this reason

When Musab bin Umair was shrouded on the day of Uhud in the single garment that he was wearing, and it was a short garment that did not cover him with a covering, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered that He covers his head with it and throws a piece of idkhir over his feet until it is hidden from sight.

And when man was created from dust, those who had a presence with God were among the people of God. If they saw the dust, they would remember what they had left behind from it, and they would consider the Almighty’s saying: From it We created you, and to it We will return you, and from it We will bring you forth another time, meaning the day
