And this is the position of the customs. As for our saying pure or mixed, then the pure letter is the existing letter about one element, and the mixed one that exists from two elements and upward. Its cycle is like a worm in the animal world that has nothing but a sense of touch, so its nourishment from touching it is like the waw with the qaf and the zai with the nun.

[ Holy Letters ]

As for our saying that is sacred, i.e. about attachment to something else, it is not connected in the line to another letter and the letters are connected to it, for He is the Exalted of the Essence, which is extended by six high apogee from it. It is the Alif, Waw, Dal, Dhal, Ra, and Zai. As for our saying singular, dual, triangle, square, munis, and lonely, we want the singular to the square what we mention, and that is from the spheres about which these letters are found that has one cycle, so that is our word singular and two cycles, so that is the dual to the square. Familiar with his form, the Almighty said, So that you find repose to it, and He placed between you affection and mercy. Abu Bakr prayed the second time, when they were both in the cave, when he said to his companion, "Do not be sad, for God is with us." He started while he was attentive to these words. There is no secret conversation of three but He is the fourth of them. So send it. Some people cut it off and some of them connect it in this position of proof, the permanence of the drawing, the appearance of the eye, the authority of the facts, and the walk of justice in terms of virtue, length and loneliness. Erasing is not correct. We say to Him the Essence, Attributes, and Actions according to the faces, so any letter that has one face has one of these presences, i.e. one thing according to its elevation and descent. If there are many faces, and as for what we say to him of letters, I mean the facts that complement himself in one aspect. Existence is from its beginning to its end, so it is for them here in particular, and in the hereafter it is general in it. The believer in Paradise says of something he wants, then it is. This is a renunciation of the meanings of the world of letters. It is few or short of what can be summarized, and it contains a warning to the owners of smells and tastes. The second chapter is to know the movements that characterize words, which are the small letters

( In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful )

The movements of the letters are six, including *** God revealed the like of them to the words

It is raising and then setting and lowering *** movements of the Arabized letters

It is opening and then joining and breaking *** movements of the fixed letters

And the origins of speech are omission, so death is *** or sukoon comes from movements

This is the state of the worlds, so see *** for a strange life in the dead

[ Letters for words are like pillars for bodies ]

Know that God supported us and you with a spirit from Him. Our condition was that we speak in vowels in separating the letters. I did not call them the minor letters. Then we saw that there is no benefit in mixing the world of vowels with the world of letters except after the system of the letters and joining some of them to each other. The Almighty s saying in our creation, then when I proportioned it and breathed into it from My Spirit, which is the incoming of the vowels on these letters after they have been equalized, then another genesis called a word as one of us is called a human being, this is how the world of words grew
