The pegs are four in every age, neither increasing nor decreasing. We saw one of them in the city of Fez called Ibn Ja`doun. He was sifting henna for a fee. One of them is God preserves the east and his jurisdiction in it, the other is Morocco, the other is the south, and the other is the north, and the division is from the Kaaba. The earth is a bed, and the mountains are pegs, for in the mountains dwells the midst of the earth. So is the rule of those in the world, the rule of the mountains in the earth, and to their place is the reference to His words, the Most High, about Satan. Since he has no entry into the children of Adam except from these directions, and as for the above and below, it may be for the six whose affairs we mention after this, God willing. Why don't you say forty men? He said: There may be women among them whose titles are Abd al-Hayy, Abd al-Alim, Abd al-Qadir and Abd al-Murid.

[ substitutes ]

And among them, may God be pleased with them, are the substitutes, and they are seven, neither adding nor subtracting. God preserves with them the seven provinces, for each substitution of a province in which he has his mandate. One of them is at the foot of Hebron, peace be upon him, and he has the first province, and he brought them in order to the owner of the seventh province, the second at the foot of the Kilim, peace be upon him, the third at the foot of Aaron, and the fourth upon Idris, the fifth at the foot of Joseph, the sixth at the foot of Jesus, and the seventh at the foot of Adam, peace be upon all. The four are the four names of the wedges, and among them are Abd al-Shakoor, Abd al-Sami , and Abd al-Basir. For each divine attribute, a man from these substitutions by which the truth looks at them and it is dominant over him. The divine is from comprehensiveness and comprehensiveness, so on that balance, the knowledge of this man and they are named forever, not because if they separate from a place and want to replace them in that place for a matter they see as interest and closeness, they leave it. Castrated in his own image, no one who realizes the vision of that person doubts that he appointed that man and not him, but rather he is a spiritual person who leaves him in his stead with the intention with knowledge of him. And this may be very consistent. We have seen and seen it, and we saw these seven substitutes in Makkah, we met them behind the ruins of the Hanbalis, and there we met with them, and I did not see the best character of them. Abd al-Majid ibn Salama, a person named Muadh ibn Ashers, was one of their elders, and he conveyed his greetings to us. This Abd al-Majid asked him about the substitutes, what did they have this status, so he said by the four mentioned by Abu Talib al-Makki, they mean hunger, vigil, silence and solitude. And the mention of these will come among the numbered men, so whoever saw the Rajabis said that the substitutes are forty souls, for they are forty.

[ captains ]

And among them, may God be pleased with them, are the captains, and they are twelve captains in every age, neither increasing nor decreasing the number of the twelve constellations of the astrological sign. The zodiac does not feel it in the sense because it does not appear that except in thousands of years, and the ages of the people of observation fall short of witnessing it. From himself and they are of knowledge, such that if someone sees the impact of a person s weight on the earth, he knows that it is the weight of a happy or wretched person, like the scholars in the archeology and Qayafa and in the Egyptian lands. May God give him these captains of archeology

[ Al-Nujaba ]

And among them, may God be pleased with them
