That it be thirty or twenty-nine, and if it is thirty, then half of it is fifteen days, and if it is twenty-nine, then it is half of the fifteenth day, and he only forbids fasting after the half, and from that the prohibition of fasting the sixteenth undoubtedly ends. The scholars, may God be pleased with them, differed regarding the fasting of the days of al-Tashreeq. The days of al-Tashreeq are the three days that follow the day of sacrifice, and they are days of eating and drinking.
