[ The end of man and his upper rank ]

As for the one who says twelve, consider the end of man and his upper rank, which is twelve, and he also considered the names of the simple numbers without the compounds, which are twelve from one to nine, and the contract three, which is ten, hundred and thousands, then these are twelve, and after this there is no number but a compound in these origins, so it is the association of simples, so know that

As for the one who did not stipulate a number and said without the forty and above the four, which is the ten forty, then the forty is established by multiplying the four by the ten, it is the ten forty. From the individual and the first rank is the three and it is for the servant, as it is what resulted from the knowledge of the truth in those who said that Friday is permissible with three. And whoever among the men of God is below this rank and has established the truth in one station in what they see in their souls, even if it is impossible in the same matter and they are in the confusion of a new character, then they are among the people of settlement, so they establish the Friday prayer and see that this is one of the conditions of health and obligatory, and whoever considers its transmission in Situations and scenes, and he sees that residence is impossible according to one condition and taste, and that his travel is like the travel of the owner of a ship in what appears to him and the matter in himself is otherwise, he did not require settlement and said the validity of Friday and its obligation by mere number, not by settlement.
