The Almighty and forbid the Paradise that the heavens and the earth offered, so he bought a little for a lot, and he will perish for a long time, and for fear of security. From the earth in the belly of a crack, then you call him unpaved or cushioned, he has taken off the grounds, separated his loved ones, settled in the dirt, and faced the account, dependent on his work, poor to what he gave, rich in what he left, so fear God before death descends. And none of you informs me of a need except that I want to satisfy his need that I am unable to, and he does not inform me that none of you can handle what I have except that I wished that I could change him so that our living and living would be equal. There was preceded by God a speaking book and a just Sunnah in which he indicated his obedience and forbade his disobedience, then he put the end of his cloak on his face and sobbed and the people wept.

( will )

And you have to follow the example of the Messenger of God, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, in his conditions, sayings and actions, except for what he states that it is specific to him, which we are not permitted to do, or he addressed any of the people to do it. On the grace of God, and Dhul-Nun was at that time in witnessing the divine blessings that we needed, so he judged his condition and uttered what he uttered. Abu Madyan and said to him, O Abu Al-Hasan, what is your business, my demon is quarreling with your devil, and we are in love, as we were, we did not change, and we do not enter ourselves between them.

( will )

In a letter to a man from the brothers of Dhul-Nun, he wrote to him to supplicate for him, so Dhul-Nun wrote to him: You asked me to supplicate to God for you to remove blessings from you. Al-Shafiq did not feel secure in himself, for the people of the accusation were safe in his affairs, so let him be with you, my brother, modesty that prevents you from complaining and peace. The enemy of God in what God hates, and make me less of it with an eye that does not cry from sinful sins, a heart that does not humble when the admonition is sent down, and a mind whose understanding it is in the love of the world and knowledge. I would never buy something like it and a person left him. He said to him, Tell my father Yazid, how long will you sleep and rest, and the caravan has passed? Abu Yazid said, Tell my brother Dhul-Nun, the man, who sleeps the whole night and then becomes at home before the caravan. Dhul-Nun said, Congratulations to him. The scholars used to write to each other with three things: Whoever is better in his soul, God will make his public good, and whoever fixes his hereafter, God will fix his worldly affairs, and whoever reconciles what is between him and God, God will fix what is between him and the people. The scholar proved knowledge as the argument and cut off the pillar of doubt and suspicion, and I occupied the days of my life asking for it, and I did not realize from it what I had missed. So the man wrote to him knowledge as a light for his owner and a guide to his luck and a means to the ranks of the happy. So the scholar wrote to him. I had a little in it as a guide to the way. Our sheikh Abu Abdullah al-Mujahid and our sheikh was his student Abu Abdullah Ibn Qashum, his deputy in teaching and leadership. He does not leave the paper, ink and pen with them, writing every day what they have of knowledge, wishing that they will be gathered tomorrow with God of knowledge students.

( will )

A man entered upon Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan who was described as virtuous and polite. Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan said to him: Speak. He said what I am speaking, and I know that every word the speaker speaks and woe upon him except for what belonged to God. Abd al-Malik wept and then said, May God have mercy on you. O Commander of the Faithful, on the Day of Resurrection, people will have a journey, and only one who pleases God with the wrath of himself will be saved from the suffocation of its bitterness and the scrutiny of the evil in it.
