As for the secret of the state, it is permanence, and it has neither a beginning nor an end, and it is the essence of the existence of every being.

[ In the sciences of letters: their properties ]

And as for their sciences in letters and names, know that letters have properties and they are of three types, including numeric, verbal, and evoked letters. The letters of pronunciation are only names, that is the specifics of names. As for the numbered ones, they may not be names. The owners of this knowledge differed about the single letter, whether it should be done or not. And their injury and what they lacked from the phrase about that, and among them are those who affirmed the verb for the single letter, and these are also like those who were prevented, wrong and right, and I saw a group of them and I informed them of the place of the mistake and the injury, so they confessed as the others confessed, and I said to the two groups: Try what you know of that according to what we have shown you, so they tried it, and they found the matter as we mentioned, so they rejoiced in that. No, I made a contract that no trace of a letter would appear from me, so I would show them that it is amazing

[ The science of letters is the science of the saints ]

He came with three letters, a metaphysical letter and two apparent letters. If the object is one, and if it exceeds one, three letters appear. These are the sciences of those men mentioned in this section. I know, by intention, they did that so that they would leave people blind to this knowledge, or were they ignorant of that, and the later one followed the Sunnahs of the previous one, and with it the student of Ja far al-Sadiq and others said, and this is the table in the nature of the letters, hot, cold, dry and wet. In the schedule of cold, it is cold, as well as dryness and humidity, and we did not see this arrangement befalling in every action, rather it works in agreement as the numbers of success

[ Letters: their property is in their forms, not in their letters ]

And know that these letters did not have this characteristic of being letters, but rather they had of being forms. So when they had forms, the characteristic of the form was therefore different in their work according to the different pens because the forms differ. As for the digital forms, their forms are perceptible by sight. And its combination with its spirit. Likewise, if the figure is a composite of two, three, or more letters, the figure has another spirit, not the spirit that the letter had on its own, for that spirit
