The servant’s purity is that he does not go beyond his ability and does not include what is necessary for himself in his ability, so he does not say it is permissible for God to do such-and-such or such-and-such. It is permissible for him not to do it, for that requires what is likely, and the right is absolutely obligatory, and what should be said is that it is permissible for movement to exist from what is moving, or it is permissible for it not to exist, so he lacks what is permissible.
