Informal announcement of critical research results based on the Single Monad Model of the cosmos:
Summary: For the first time in the history of modern physics, we can now understand why the speed of light in vacuum cannot be surpassed. At the same time, the counter-intuitive quantum-mechanical instantaneous motion, such as quantum tunneling and the EPR, can now also be explained based on the same principle of ongoing cosmic re-creation, without breaking the light speed limit. This has been now well established and will be published soon. Moreover, but still unfinished research yet, the speed of light can now be CALCULATED based on pure philosophical or ontological principles!
The Relativity and Quantum theories are the two major theories in the history of modern physics. They have been well tested and proved truthful in various ways, in their own domains. The problem is that they are mutually controverting when applied together in the same domain. Relativity is applied successfully on the macrocosm (stars, galaxies and the universe), and Quantum Mechanics is equally successful in the microcosm (atoms, elementary particles and quantum fields), but never the opposite. The ultimate reason behind this contradiction is the constancy and invariance of the speed of light.
The famous Michelson-Morley experiments in 1887 was meant to prove the existence of ether. This experiment failed, but it had unexpectedly demonstrated that light travels at the same speed regardless of whether it was measured in the direction of the Earths motion or at right angles to it. The motion of the earth does not add to the speed of light as one would normally expect. In 1905, Einstein developed his theory of Special Relativity based on the fact that nothing can ever travel faster than light. This principle gave rise to all kinds of peculiar results such as time travel.
Einstein, nor anybody else, so far, did not actually PROVE the constancy of the speed of light in all frames of reference. Rather, it is an axiom, or an underlying assumption, from which he derived the rest of his theory. This axiom has been experimentally verified, but it has not been proven in any theoretic sense.
In parallel with Relativity, Quantum Mechanics started to develop in the early 20th century, when it was discovered that the laws of classical mechanics, including Newtons theory of Gravity as well as Einsteins theory of Relativity, that govern macroscopic objects, do not apply correctly on microscopic scales, such as the interactions between atoms and elementary particles. In Classical Mechanics, we could predict the behavior of a system if we exactly knew its initial state. But in Quantum Mechanics, we can only calculate the probability of how the system will evolve, not because of the lack of appropriate tools, but due to Heisenbergs uncertainty principle which states that not all of the physical parameters of a system can be fully determined at the same time. Moreover, the state of the system that is being measured by the observer is found to be essentially influenced by the measurement itself, i.e. the observer himself affects the observed reality. This latter concept in particular caused some scientists to consider that consciousness can affect the motion and behavior of particles.
All these peculiar concepts, which were soon to be supported experimentally, led to many astonishing conclusions such as the wave-particle duality, quantum tunneling, and quantum entanglement, that mostly contradict common views of matter, space and time, and clearly contradict the principle of Einsteins Relativity of the constancy of the speed of light, that was also already experimentally confirmed. As a result, these contradictions triggered many research paths that tried to consolidate the fundamental forces of physics, leading to many differing and intersecting theories, such as Quantum Gravity, Superstring Theory, Quantum Field Theory, Supersymmetry, and the Theory of Everything. None of these theories, however, was ever able to conquer these contradictions.
The strength of the Single Monad Model (SMM), which is based on Ibn Arabis controversial theory of the Oneness of Being, comes from its ability to predict the principles of both the Theory of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics, and allowing them to be applied simultaneously at any level of Nature. It will even push a substantial step further by explaining the origination and construction of space-time, which makes it a non-background theory of space-time quantization, that is the only way to explain Quantum Gravity, and hence include it in the successful Quantum Field Theory.
This research was performed between 2000-2005 at Exeter University under the supervision of Prof. James W. Morris, and was first published in 2008 in (Ibn Arabi Time and Cosmology) and republished as (The Single Monad Model) in 2014. The current complementary results are based on my independent research in UAE University.
To put it in simple words, nothing can ever move faster than the Single Monad because everything is brought into existence by this only real entity that is the Source of everything. Everything in existence is a temporal image of the Single Monad that lasts only for the moment of its existence, to be re-created again in the following Week (that we already proved as the quantum unit of space-time that is in fact equivalent to an instant). In other words, the terminal speed of light is the speed of re-creation, or the refresh rate. Through its perpetual alternation between all the entities of existence, the Single Monad creates a frame of space, one form at a time, and re-creates it again, continuously.
Motion is therefore not real, as Zeno originally argued, rather it is a change of place. The new place could be in the other end of the Universe right in the following instance, as it happens with the two entangled particles in the EPR. This will look instantaneous, but it does not violate the speed of light limit which is enforced as a result of re-creation. Velocity is not distance per time anymore; this is only a macroscopic approximation that works just fine in everyday life.
Moreover, if we could demonstrate how exactly the Single Monad creates the frames of space in time, we would be able to calculate the speed of light without any measurement. This is still incomplete, but half way through. If completed, all the laws of physics will follow directly based only on this one ontological principle of re-creation. This means that a theory of Quantum Gravity will follow directly based on this unique quantization of space-time, which is the only missing link towards the Theory of Everything.
